Platform, Get Noticed in a Noisy World, Giveaway

Update from last week:

THE WINNER OF, BEYOND THE PAST, BOOK TWO IN THE CANEY CREEK SERIES IS
Kay M.

Welcome all new subscribers from the Write-to-Publish Conference.

This week I will give away a copy of Platform, Get Noticed in a Noisy World, by Michael Hyatt.

At the Write-to-Publish Conference, I told the members of my blogging class, that I consider this book a must-read for marketing their work and themselves online.

I keep a copy I have underlined and highlighted next to my computer. Inside you will find chapters about blogs, Twitter, and how to build your tribe online, just to name a few. It is a wealth of information.

Michael Hyatt, former CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers, states in his book: "In order for you to be successful in today's business environment, you need two things: a compelling product and a significant platform." He goes on to say: "Your platform is the means by which you connect with your existiing and potential fans."

Leave a comment to be entered into the drawing. To be entered twice, subscribe to this blog by email, and let me know in your comment. Drawing ends midnight, Thursday, June 27. Winner will be announced on this blog on Friday, June 28.

  1. Hi Tammy. Thanks for all the interviews you did for Write to Publish 2013. It was so helpful and I found an agent who would like to read my book proposal. The first time attendees I met found your classes helpful - thought you'd like to know. Thanks for doing book giveaways!

  3. Tammie, thanks so much for the workshops you led at Write-to-Publish. The orientation workshop put us all at ease, and the blogging workshop helped a potentially intimidating subject feel a little more accessible. Have a blessed weekend!

  4. Tammie, I so appreciate your willingness to share new things with your readers. I subscribe to Micheal's blog but I don't always have time to listen to his podcast. This book might be a better idea.

  7. Hey, Tammie.
Wish I could have been at WTP this year, but the schedule just wouldn't allow it. And I wanted to get Hyatt's book at LAST year's WTP and it sold out! So, hoping I can get it here. Thanks for all your continued help with the writing journey. Mark

  9. I've heard a lot about Michael Hyatt's book. The author of Willing to Die, which will be published later this year, is using his book to establish her market.
